Ashfield U20`s Development Squad - Season 2021/22
Ashfield FC created a development team in the inaugural year of the Lowlands League West Section Season 2021/22.
This was to further progress the existing academy bringing in a group of players to develop with the hope of progression to be involved at first team level.
The First team has given over a dozen players from within the development group first team action either in Friendly games and several boys having made first team debuts in league or cup games.
4 of the squad have signed contracts to be part of next season’s top team squad, this has provided other players hope to continue to develop and challenge next season.
Within our first season we have competed in the conference E section. Playing our games on Friday nights at Firhill complex, we train twice a week Mondays and Wednesdays and provide free access to the first teams physio team. At present we have 1 remaining League fixture and a Quarter Final in the League Cup West to be played.

We are looking to build on our existing squad as an age group 2002 moves out we are looking for Talented and Committed players to come on board this process has already started. With 2003/04/05 players included
